About the retreat

Accommodation
The venue, called De Logerie, is a beautiful and quiet villa, surrounded by nature. All rooms are overlooking the forest, and the villa is surrounded by a large grass garden, allowing you the opportunity for nice strolls and even walking barefoot if you wish.
All of the luxurious, spacious and light 2-3 person bedrooms, have their own bathroom. You will share a room with a maximum of two other people.
Included in the price is the accommodation for three nights at the villa, including access to all the facilities and full board. The retreat includes delicious, healthy and plant-based (vegan) meals; dinner on Friday, three meals on Saturday & Sunday and breakfast on Monday.
Location
The retreat will take place in Enkhuizen, a beautiful old Dutch harbour town in in the province of North Holland and the region of West-Frisia in the Netherlands. It is located 90 min from Amsterdam Centraal Station by public transport, or 45 min by car.

Language
The lectures and instruction will be conducted in English. Intermediate level of English is required for participation. All questions may be answered in Dutch as well.

All the meals, lectures and classes are included in the price. The only thing you have to arrange yourself is the travel to and from the retreat location.
Cancellation conditions: 50% refund up until 3 weeks ahead of the retreat. No refunds are possible in case of cancellations later than 2 weeks before the start of the retreat.

The organiser of the retreat, Roel Wilbers is the founder of Meditatie Amsterdam, meditation trainer and author of the book ‘author of the book “Meditation, your daily mini holiday” (original Dutch title “Meditatie, je dagelijkse minivakantie”). Roel focuses on helping people to achieve more inner balance, calmness, productivity, energy and vitality. He works with groups and individuals who want to make an investment in their own personal development and their mental, emotional and physical health.
His approach to both meditation and energy work is concrete and the techniques he uses are practical and directly and easily applicable. They are always personally tested and wherever possible he uses scientific research to back up the content of the training. The findings in science can be inspiring and give a good indication of what is possible to achieve by meditating. When it comes to the effectiveness of the meditation methods he uses, the only proof that really is important in Roel’s view, is the experience of the positive effects on each individual. In addition to meditation practices, Roel also teaches courses in energy work and holds sound bath healing sessions using Tibetan singing bowls.
