PROFESSIONAL CREDENTIALS

As far as I can remember I have been inspired by learning, which led me to complete my higher education with multiple Master degrees. I continued my education throughout my working career, focusing on vocational training in project and team management skills.

My learning trajectory demonstrates a life-long commitment to growing and developing my skills. I have always been motivated by the possibility of expanding my knowledge and broadening my horizons. My curiosity and fascination with the world around me to go beyond the traditional scholarly education, leading me to seek out new experiences, grow my comfort zone and master news skills. The achievements featured below are a result of focused effort and pure joy of learning.

CONTINUOUS PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION

Besides my academic path, I followed formal training at renowned institutions in the fields of neuro-linguistic programming, yoga and professional coaching. I hold professional credentials in all of these areas and am a registered member of professional associations in the field of coaching and alternative therapy. In order to become professionally certified as a career, mindset, personal leadership and lifestyle coach I have completed extensive formal training over a period of 8 years in the Netherlands and UK. All these experiences, together with multiple personal development seminars and in-company training events that I had attended throughout my career, have helped me in assembling my coaching toolkit. I am a registered member of several renowned institutions in coaching and alternative therapies. LaMatu has been awarded the title “Most Transformational Coach” in January 2023 and one year later “Most Transformational Corporate Coaching Company” by Corporate Vision.

PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATIONS

In 2024 LaMatu has been awarded the title of the Most Transformational Coach 2023 in Amsterdam in the category Corporate Coaching and Recruitment Awards. As a professional coach I am a member of several associations, including the International Coaching Federation. I have also registered at the Dutch professional association of alternative therapists Collectief Alternatieve Therapeuten (CAT) and GAT. All those organisations perform thorough screening and their members pledge to abide by a professional ethical code.

COACHING AND NLP CREDENTIALS

I started studying Neuro-Linguistic Programming in 2016 in London under the guidance of Dr. Richard Bandler. I continued my studies both in English and Dutch in Amsterdam, where I obtained the credentials of a Licensed Master Practitioner of NLP. Throughout my managerial career I took part at multiple seminars and courses to develop my coaching skills in a business setting. Those experiences inspired me to enrol at the Dutch "Associatie voor Coaching", from which I graduated as a Certified Professional Coach. I continued my education to pursue further formal training in the Netherlands in order to become certified as as a mindset, personal leadership and lifestyle coach.

I have extensive project management background, having worked on complex international projects in the area of eCommerce and digital marketing. I have been certified by PMI as an Agile Practitioner (ACP)® as well as a Project Management Professional (PMP)® and APMG PRINCE2® Practitioner, and am experienced at working according to various project management methodologies.

My fields of studies spanned across international business, marketing, management, teaching and culture, all of which I keep applying in my work as a coach. In the course of my studies I was granted two international scholarships, which allowed me to spend one academic year in Germany and another semester in Spain.

YOGA TEACHER TRAINING

Since November 2019 I have completed over 850 hours of yoga teacher courses held at Delight Yoga Academy, certified by Yoga Alliance. I finished my RYT® 200 Yoga Teacher training by Delight Yoga in September 2021 and obtained RYT® 300 certification in June 2023. On my yoga journey I have participated in multiple workshops and retreats, where I learnt and practiced and techniques including not only yoga asanas, but also ayurveda, yoga nidra, breath-work and meditation.
