About the retreat
Are you curious how a long weekend can provide you more mental and physical rest and balance than a week at a beach resort? Sign up for the upcoming retreat organised by the founder of Meditatie Amsterdam, meditation trainer and author of the book “Meditation, your daily mini holiday” (original Dutch title “Meditatie, je dagelijkse minivakantie”), Roel Wilbers. Enjoy gentle movement guided in relaxing yoga sessions conducted by Monika Matuszewska from LaMatu.
To retreat means to distance yourself, to consciously take time off for yourself and detach from all the busyness, roles, obligations and patterns holding you in your daily life. A retreat provides you with peace of mind, clarity, openness and more inner freedom.
Immerse yourself for a weekend in the peace and profoundness of meditation together with the instructors and other participants of this retreat. Afterwards your body as well as your mind will feel more rested and recharged. You will find yourself re-entering your life with fresh inspiration and newly gained perspective.
Give yourself this present of relaxation and resetting by entering a stress-free zone. Regain peace of mind and inner balance, deepen your meditation skills and optimise the freedom of your breath. This mini-holiday guarantees more relaxation and resetting than a whole week spent at a busy beach resort. A mini holiday in the form of meditation gives mental peace and balance. Experience what meditation can do for you.

The organiser of the retreat, Roel Wilbers is the founder of Meditatie Amsterdam, meditation trainer and author of the book ‘author of the book “Meditation, your daily mini holiday” (original Dutch title “Meditatie, je dagelijkse minivakantie”). Roel focuses on helping people to achieve more inner balance, calmness, productivity, energy and health. As well in as outside of companies, he works with groups or individuals who want to make an investment in their own personal development and their mental and physical health. His approach to meditation is concrete and the techniques he uses are practical and directly and easily applicable. They are always personally tested and wherever possible he uses scientific research to back up the content of the training. The findings in science can be inspiring and give a good indication of what is possible to achieve by meditating. When it comes to the effectiveness of the meditation methods he uses, the only proof that really is important in Roel’s view, is the experience of the positive effects on each individual.
