Join the 2022 edition of the Mentor Programme of the Polaris Foundation. The 6th year of our Mentoring Programme starts on the 1st of February 2022 and ends in December 2022. Save the date for the Kick-off Meeting of the 2022 cohort of the mentoring programme on 31st of March 31, 2022. The Kick-off Event of the 2022 Mentoring Program will be a hybrid of an in-person and online gathering. The Participants of the Program will receive an e-mail with the invitation to join in person or online via Zoom (for a limited time including the welcome and the workshop).
Mentoring Programme by Polaris Foundation focuses on people who are willing to work on themselves in an inclusive environment. It does not matter whether you are at the beginning of your career or already a seasoned professional, whether you want to make a career change, become an entrepreneur, be more visible, have more impact, or whether you are simply “stuck” in your current role and in need of someone to help you determine your next steps. Monika Matuszewska from LaMatu will be one of the mentors participating in this programme.
The aim of the programme is to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and experience outside of your regular working environment. It is designed for women and men who are willing to invest in their personal and professional development, actively navigate their life and want to have a positive impact on society. The Polaris Foundation Mentoring Program is a highly regarded, one-year long program that can help the mentees get a fresh perspective on your career status & future aspirations, clarify their next steps in your personal growth, set up and reach their personal and professional goals, step outside comfort zone; inspire and contribute to the growth of others while developing yourself, learn from amazing mentors, from perspectives of great professionals outside the member’s own organisation, build lasting professional relationships and broaden one’s network.
Mentoring is a giving experience by which mentors share their proficiency and expertise, and grow their mentees by building their confidence, enhance their education and expand their professional networks. Mentoring motivates both mentors and mentees to develop interpersonal and professional skills.
The programme consists of:
- – online registration for mentors and mentees
- – personalised matching
- – a kick-off event to meet your mentor and others in the program and receive professional training for all mentors and mentees to ensure an impactful mentoring partnership
- – minimum 5 personal sessions between mentor and mentee conducted face-to-face, by phone or online
- – 3 mentoring events with workshops, trainings or inspirational talks by guest speakers covering relevant topics
- – plenty of opportunities to connect with the participants of the programme and expand your network
- – access to a powerful network and community of Polaris Foundation
LANGUAGE
This programme will be conducted in English. Professional working proficiency of English is required for participation.
PARTICIPATION
Mentee price: €195
Whether you wish you to become a Mentee or a Mentor or both, tell us what you are looking for in the mentoring relationship and what your needs and goals are, and we will match you with your partner for this journey: a Mentor or a Mentee respectively. In order to register, simply fill in and submit an online application form. You may apply for the programme using the “Sign up” button. Once you are successfully enrolled to the program, you will receive further communication about the kick-off event and for all the upcoming meetings.
