TOPIC
In a society where we for the longest of time have been focused on more, faster, bigger and better, taking a step back is more important than ever. Taking a step back not just by “slow living”. But finding our way back to ourself and the magic we all possess. When hearing the word trauma, people tend to only think of traumatic experiences like war, abuse or witnessing a violent act. However trauma is more than that. We all have a story. As trauma literally lives in our bodies, taking an embodied approach in your healing journey is transformational.
We all hold a big source of magic within that not only can help us to be our truest and highest self. It can also help us heal from trauma in a transformative way. Understanding and learning to use different tools to connect to that magic can have a positive impact on your healing. These powerful tools have been used by humanity since the dawn of history. Many of these tools comes straight from nature itself. Using them s in healing alongside traditional therapy and treatments can in some cases even result in break throughs that would have never occurred with more traditional methods.
During the interactive talk we will discuss what trauma is and its different forms. We will also discuss how psilocybin can actually be a game changer in the healing of trauma. We will be going through an embodiment practice that will help you (re)connect with your own magic.
