Marfa Vasilieva is Ukrainian photographer, that combines her unique expertise in personal branding photography, a master’s in marketing, art, and her patented Phototherapy method to create an experience that goes beyond just taking a photo. With over 20 years of experience and global recognition, including exhibitions at the Japanese Biennale and Dordrecht Museum, Marfa’s work through Business Photo NL is designed to capture not just your image, but your essence.
For two decades, Marfa has been transforming personal branding through her lens. With a Master’s in International Marketing and Advertising, Marfa isn’t just a photographer—she’s a change-maker. Inspired by the Dove Real Beauty Campaign during her thesis, Marfa’s journey led to the creation of Phototherapy. This innovative method, born from self-portraits and honed through work with 2,400 women in Kyiv, combines empathy, attention to detail, and humor to boost confidence. Marfa’s approach reveals that true fashion isn’t on runways but in the unique stories of diverse bodies and faces.
Her phototherapy method captures more than images; it empowers individuals to embrace their true, beautiful selves, making each shutter click a step toward self-love and societal change.
