Every day, we are faced with decisions—some small and fleeting, others life-defining. From choosing what to eat for breakfast to deciding where to live, who to trust, or whether to change careers, our lives are shaped by the choices we make.
Decision making is the invisible architecture of our lives. It determines the direction we take, the people we surround ourselves with, and the opportunities we pursue—or miss. Yet, most of us were never taught how to make decisions. We rely on intuition, impulse, or advice from others—often without clarity or structure.
Research in behavioural economics shows that our decisions are rarely as rational as we believe. We’re influenced by biases, fears, habits, and emotions. We avoid risk, stick with the familiar, and hesitate in the face of uncertainty. Understanding these hidden forces is the first step towards becoming a more conscious, confident decision-maker.
This session invites you to explore your current choices through a fresh lens. You’ll discover tools to untangle overthinking, frameworks to guide complex decisions, and powerful metaphors—like the roundabout—to help you know when it’s time to choose and move on.
